Delhi goes
Dali
Mood
Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali’s unique perspective on art has resonated with and influenced the sensibilities of artists and connoisseurs around the world. At the same time, Dali himself is believed to have been deeply fascinated by Indian mysticism. To celebrate this connection, a dedicated exhibition of his brilliant artworks is being held in India for the first time. The exhibition, ‘Dali Comes to India’, comprises 200 of his original sketches, etchings and watercolour paintings, and is being showcased at the Massarat Gallery by Bruno Art Group, New Delhi, till March 16. The collection has been curated by Christine Argillet, the daughter of Pierre Argillet, Dali’s publisher and confidante.
